    Canucks’ Demko to Miss Game 2 with Undisclosed Injury

    In a surprising turn of events, the Vancouver Canucks will be without their star goaltender, Thatcher Demko, for Game 2 of the Western Conference First Round series against the Nashville Predators. Coach Rick Tocchet confirmed that Demko’s absence is unrelated to the knee injury that sidelined him for 14 games earlier in the season. Canucks coach Rick Tocchet clarified that this injury is unrelated to the knee injury that kept Demko out for 14 games from March 13 to April 13.
