    Bawumia Leads Over Mahama In Latest Election Poll

    The electoral chances ahead of the general elections are seemingly getting narrower for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flag-bearer, John Mahama.

    This is manifested in recent surveys in some key and critical constituencies in the country where majority of the voters believe , flag-bearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has solidified his electoral gains and garnered more popularity.

    The voters interviewed by Outcomes International from 10th to 25th February, 2024, reposed more confidence in Dr. Bawumia in salvaging the economy when elected as compared to John Mahama.

    The survey included 977 respondents from ten key swing constituencies in Greater Accra, Central and Bono regions by

    The key question of the survey, was “who will you vote for if elections were held today produced very these findings.”

    From the survey report, whereas, former President Mahama wins in Ablekuma Central, Adentan, Ledzokuku and Awutu Senya West; Dr. Bawumia wins in La Dadekotopon, Cape Coast North, Twifo-Atti Morkwa, Dormaa West and Jaman North.

    The overall performance of each of the leading candidates shows that Dr. Bawumia (43.5%) has an edge over Mr. Mahama (42.1%).

    However, the poll shows that 6.9% of the respondents will vote for other candidates and 7.4% were undecided at the time of the polling.
