Internet users who saw the video criticized Nana Agradaa for choosing to have a lavish baptism in her swimming pool at home after she converted from her fetish worship to Christianity and for using the ocean to cleanse her members.

Many even claimed that her method of baptizing—in which she was depicted dipping her body parts in the sea just once—contravenes the biblical requirement that people be immersed three times to symbolize the Trinity.
