The deals and unpleasant working situation of Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of National Petroleum Authority has and seems to be affecting his boss at the Energy Ministry known as Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly called NAPO as his name has been out of the running mate discussion of the New Patriotic Party this week.
Mustapha known to this portal is not superintending over an effective NPA as various filling stations, are affected negatively, making the public lose interest and focus on the dealing of Petroleum products for their various cars.
Earlier, Napo has been a top runner with many vying for him, but the petroleum disadvantage at the NPA is negatively impacting his way of being the running mate for the party.

It was made known that, Hamid who was since his appointment in 2021-06-22 has been abysmal in the duty, and has got nothing to show of his achievement, is creating all manner of shoddy work to stress Napo who is his boss at Energy Ministry.
Hamid work at the NPA is likely to affect his boss and grassroot fraternity of the New Patriotic Party will never forgive him if NAPO is denied the running mate slot.
A social media post by the former chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Dr Opoku Onyinah has generated a lot of discussion as many are vying for him, including top notch personalities in the party.
The post reads, “The Lord has a reason for creating me. Burying my talent and making it redundant is doing a disservice to my family, church, nation, and world, if I fail to speak, to work, to contribute, I allow the ‘bad’ minority to rule and dictate. Often, the silence of the majority or a good one helps the noisy minority destroy society or even rule. (From my script on Words of Wisdom).”

Other names such as Majority Leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, and the MP for Ablekuman West, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, have come up for consideration by the NPP leader.
Also, Chief of Staff Madam Frema Osei Opare, First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon Joseph Osei Owusu (Joe Wise), and Education Minister and MP for Bosomtwe, Hon Yaw Osei Adutwum, have all been tipped for the second-top position of the land.
Meanwhile, the National Executive Council (NEC) of the NPP has agreed to the request for an extension by the flagbearer, Dr Bawumia, to name his running mate.
It also agreed that the running mate for Dr Bawumia should come from the Ashanti region, the party’s stronghold.
