The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended a hand of friendship to Frances Essiam, a former party member.

They have urged the former managing director of the Ghana Cylinder Manufacturing Company Limited to get back into politics, which was always her first love.

This phone call was made following Madam Essiam’s resignation due to interference in her work, according to the Minister of Energy, Dr. Matthew Opoku-Prempeh.

According to a letter from the presidency thanking her for her service to Ghana, she has since been replaced.

On Friday’s Ekosii Sen program on Asempa FM, former NDC deputy communications officer Kwaku Boahen responded to this by saying he is not surprised.

He stated that Miss Essiam’s experience is typical of the current New Patriotic Party (NPP), which dumps

“Come home, all those you left with have returned so it’s not too late,” he said.

In December 2005, Madam Essiam, a National Women’s Organiser, left the NDC. Since then, she has belonged to the NPP.
