Mercy Asiedu addressed falsehoods about her supposed death head-on. The actress stressed that she is not only alive but also in good health while expressing her gratitude for friends’ and family’s concern.
She discloses that the rumors had a negative emotional impact on her and her family, which is why they decided to speak out about the matter.
The actress specifically mentioned a television station called Amazing TV and called out YouTube bloggers for spreading the false information.
Mercy Asiedu challenges those promoting the false reports to stop inciting fear and panic and alludes to a purported spiritual motivation behind them.
She conveyed her appreciation for the tremendous outpouring of love and support from those who contacted her to confirm the news. The actress underlined how important it is to stop the suffering brought on by the unfounded rumors.
The Kumawood actress sent a powerful message out as she ended the video, saying, “I am here to tell you I am alive and kicking.”
In her words, Mercy Asiedu said;
“To all Ghanaians and my fans worldwide, l am not dead. As you can see, I am alive and kicking. God has blessed me with strength.
I am not ever ill. I haven’t been ill. There have been rumours out there that I am dead. Bloggers on YouTube are parading lies. Parading falsehood that someone is dead is extremely outrageous”
“Everyone will eventually die but it shouldn’t be the case that you insist that someone has died when you don’t have the facts.
They’re saying I am in the UK but I am in the US. They are scheming spiritually to kill me, hence the false narrative or maybe, it’s their mother’s they intend to kill.”
