Host of Wontumi Radio morning show, Oheneba Nana Asiedu, has cursed all Ashantis and Manhyia chiefs who have risen against the NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi.
His comments after Wontumi was hauled to the Asantehene’s seat for allegedly making offensive remarks about Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
Speaking during Wontumi radio morning show, Oheneba said God will deal with all Ashantis and Manhyia chiefs who have rise against Chairman Wontumi who sacrificed so much to lead the NPP party in the Ashanti region to canvass votes for NPP to win power in 2016 and 2020.
“If you are a cold store operator or running a barbering shop or salon and was affected by dumsor under Mahama’s administration and Chairman Wontumi rose up and Ashanti region brought NPP back to power and you are benefiting today and you are quiet looking at what people are doing against him, you have a question to answer someday somewhere,” Oheneba said.
The host of the Wontumi morning further threatened to expose certain secrets with the Ashanti region if the people continue to fight Chairman Wontumi.

Relatedly, in order to make a plea on behalf of the Regional Chairman, Justin Frimpong Kodua, the General Secretary of the NPP, Henry Nana Boakye, the National Organizer, and a few other regional executives appeared before the Asanteman Council.
However, Chariman Wontumi was noticeably absent because he was ill, Mr. Kodua informed the chiefs, saying, “Nananom, we could not come with Chairman Wontumi because he has not been well.”
However, some of the chiefs were not comfortable with the explanation. For example, Nana Kwaku Owusu, one of Otumfuo’s top linguists, insisted on seeing Wontumi’s medical records.
Mr. Frimpong Kodua begged for mercy since he was unable to provide the requested medical report.
Lawyer Maurice Ampaw, a host on Wontumi TV/Radio, was another person whose problem was discussed.
