Late President John Evans Atta Mills’ brother Samuel Atta Mills has been accused by Abusua Panin, Kwabena Biney, of using the late president as bait to achieve his political ambition.
The former President died 11-years ago, but recently the family has been divided over the autopsy report of Professor Mills.
Over the weekend, a delegation of the late president’s family visited President Nana Akufo-Addo and requested for the autopsy report of John Evans Atta Mills.
They expressed concern about the unidentified cause of his death and emphasized the importance of getting the report for historical records and closure.
This appeal was made on the family’s behalf by Nana Enyimfua III, who visited the president over the weekend in Accra. The family wants to obtain the report prior to President Akufo-Addo’s term coming to an end.
However, MP for Komenda Abrem and also a brother to the late president slammed the Head of Atta Mills Institute, Koku Anyihodo and alleged family who went to see President Akufo-Addo and demanded for the the autopsy report of John Evans Atta Mills.
Speaking in an interview on Adom FM’s morning show, Samuel Atta Mills revealed that Koku Anyidoho and those who went with him to see Akufo-Addo are imposters. He added that they are not part of the late Atta Mill’s family.
Meanwhile, Kwabena Biney (Abusua Panin) in an interview on Dwaso Nsem, wondered why Samuel Atta Mills is bent on not wanting the family to know what killed their beloved son.
“I am not too interested in the autopsy but Sammy has his own reasons for doing what what he’s doing. He called me and fought with me over the phone not to go and see the President. So I don’t know where his interest is, he has used Professor Atta Mills as a bait to achieve his political goals,” Kwabena Biney claimed.
All long the conversation, Nana Enyimfua III, the queen mother who appealed to President Akufo-Addo on behalf of the family also supported the claims of Kwabena Biney (Abusua Panin)
