Member of Parliament for Assin Central and recently defeated presidential flagbearer of the NPP, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has been in MP for Bantama Constituency, Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye’s neck in recent times ahead of NPP parliamentary primaries slated for later this month.
Recall, InsightNewsgh.com reported that Ken Agyapong threatened to publish damaging allegations of corruption against Francis Asenso-Boakye, if the latter is allowed to continue as the party’s parliamentary candidate.
He urged party delegates in the Bantama constituency to abstain from voting for Asenso-Boakye on the grounds that he is conceited and dishonest in every way.
In a new video going viral on X (formerly Twitter) and sighted by InsightNewsgh.com, the unconventional politician has accused Asenso-Boakye and former Chief Justice, Kwasi Anin Yeboah of stealing government lands.
According to him, Asenso-Boakye and Anin Yeboah have taken possession of late Justice Marfo Sau’s residence and other government lands during their tenure as staff at the Jubilee House.
Ken Agyapong further called on former President John Mahama and and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia that whomever wins the 2024 election should launch investigations into the matter he has raised.
He also threatened spill more beans about Asenso-Boakye and vowed to continue exposing corrupt politicians who are looting government funds and properties.

On January 11, 2024, Ken Agyapong, whose brother Ralph Agyapong is running against Asenso-Boakye in the next primary, thoroughly explained why Bantama MP should not be kept in office during a meeting with a few delegates.
As he pleaded with the delegates to support his brother, Ken Agyapong threatened to launch an investigation against the incumbent Bantama MP should he be re-elected.
On January 27, 2024, Asenso-Boakye and Ralph Agyapong will square off as party delegates in seats held by sitting Members of Parliament choose parliamentary candidates for the general elections of 2024.
