Gospel singer Sonnie Badu has sent a message to Ghanaians, claiming that he was not meant to be understood by the average person.

Rather than keeping his life a book, he prefers to keep it a mystery.

He announced his arrival in America in a social media post, saying, “Atlanta I am home … see you tomorrow @therockhillchurch I was not born to be understood by the ordinary mind I am a mystery”.

This Christmas season, Sonnie Badu’s accident has been the main topic of conversation in Ghana.

There was a belief that the musician staged the mishap to promote his wildly successful event, Rhythms of Africa.

The Baba hitmaker announced that he had undergone major surgery after a domestic accident on his social media pages, sharing pictures of himself on crutches prior to the event.

It’s interesting to note that some online users asserted that Sonnie Badu used the aforementioned domestic mishap to promote his concert.

Their suspicions may have been validated when Sonnie Badu took the stage and delivered an eclectic performance that will undoubtedly stay in the memories of attendees for a very long time.

This time, however, Sonnie Badu—who had been limping for a week following the aforementioned domestic performance—performed without it.

The Wonder God performer returned the crutches shortly after his show and received assistance leaving the stage.

This has strengthened the opinions of some online users who maintain that the crutches episode was merely a marketing ploy for Rhytms of Africa.

In other news, KiDi has advised Ghanaians to exercise caution this December while celebrating.

KiDi encouraged people to enjoy the festivities because life can be crazy and challenging at times in a tweet on Thursday, December 15.

He advises attendees to concerts to enjoy themselves and have a positive outlook.

“This December as you go to your fave artistes’ concerts, go with the mindset to actually have a good time. Don’t go fishing for negatives and shortcomings. Life hard already, have fun and enjoy yourself with your people at these concerts and remember to stay safe,” he tweeted on his X (formerly Twitter) page.
