Around Anloga Junction in Kumasi, a stationary articulated truck suddenly moved and collided with people, leaving one person officially dead and two critically injured.
Witnesses reported that when the truck began to move on its own, people present warned onlookers to flee for their lives. Sadly, it struck a few people who were standing close to the roadside.
Firefighters had to spend more than an hour freeing the three people who were stuck beneath the articulated truck.
The first two patients, who were both female, were taken to the hospital in different ambulances to receive treatment as reported by Citi News.
However, it was discovered that the third individual had passed away after being saved. The body was then taken to the morgue by the police.

Meanwhile, The New Force political movement’s spokesperson’s family has charged Ghana’s government with robbing them of their daughter.
They claim that although Shalimar Abbiusi has been forcibly detained by the National Investigation Bureau (NIB), she is not a criminal.
Ms. Abbiusi’s parents were seen sobbing and pleading for their daughter’s release in a recent video that the New Force released.
“They kidnapped my daughter, she did nothing wrong. She is not a criminal,” her mother cried.
In addition, her father pleaded with the authorities to free her defenseless daughter.
“I want to speak to the government; give my daughter back,” he fumed.
