Popular Nigerian Gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassey has urged his fellow Ghanaian Gospel musicians to write their songs in English.

According to him, he knows Ghanaian Gospel ministers love to write their songs in the Ghanaian local language, however, he believes God has endowed them with a special power for global recognition.

Therefore, Nathaniel Bassey claimed that if Ghanaian Gospel ministers want to reach the global audience and make more impact then they should consider writing their songs in English.

“Can I plead with Ghanaian music ministers to write more songs in English? I know you love your language, but there is an anointing on you and the world needs to hear your songs,” he said.

The popular Nigerian Gospel singer and songwriter, who has so many songs to his name, followed up with another tweet sighted on his X page (formerly Twitter) that he’s open to having short session with any Ghanaian gospel minister who needs his help.

“My dear Ghanaian brethren and music ministers? Let’s chat. If you want me to have a shorty session to expound on what I shared with you, say Yeeey…. Can have short session that would bless you,” he wrote.
