Diana Asamoah, a well-known gospel singer, is optimistic that Alan Kyerematen’s recently established Movement for Change won’t be a challenge to the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) victory in the general elections of 2024.
She says the NPP’s chances of winning the next elections won’t be negatively impacted by Alan Kyerematen‘s leaving the party and starting his own political movement.
In an interview with TV3, Diana Asamoah stressed that the NPP will prosper as a political organization even if some members leave to follow their own independent political agendas.
She rejected the idea that the NPP could be defeated in the election by Alan Kyerematen’s Movement for Change, represented by a butterfly.
Diana Asamoah drew a comparison with the biblical story in response to the host’s inquiry concerning well-known individuals quitting the NPP, pointing out that even Jesus experienced a decline in followers during his ministry. She said she was sure the NPP would win because, like Jesus, it would not waver.
Recently, Alan Kyerematen left the New Patriotic Party to form the Movement for Change, with the intention of seeking the presidency in the 2024 elections. In the meantime, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the vice president, will represent the NPP in the upcoming elections.

In a related news, Evangelist Diana Asamoah has explained why she has changed her wardrobe over the last few years.
Diana Asamoah claims that a fellow man of God who was ignorant of the Bible brainwashed her.
Diana Asamoah recently told Berla Mundi that she dresses sexily, spends a lot of money on wigs, and wears expensive shoes to make God and the gospel seem uninteresting.
The singer, who previously called women who wore pants and other clothing items “worldly,” has stated that she is now eradicating the false impression that she instilled in people about what it means to be a Christian.
She claims that the way she dresses now shows that she has a deeper comprehension of what it means to be a Christian. The things she used to criticize are necessities in life, in her opinion.
