Soundcity MVP Awards 2023 – Fast rising Ghanaian artiste Black Sherif has won the Best Hip Hop Act of the Year at the 2023 Soundcity MVP Awards in Nigeria.
Black Sherif beat off strong competition from Blaqbonez, M.I, Kaligraph, Nasty C & AKA, Psycho, Ladipoe, Wakadinali, Chyn and Vector to become the winner in the tight category.

The ‘Kwaku The Traveler’ crooner appreciated all of his fans for their continued support and said he loves them all after picking the prestigious award.
In addition to being the winner of the Best Hip-Hop category, hitmaker Konongo Zongo was nominated for Best New Artist, Best Collaboration, Listener’s Choice, and Choice, respectively. of viewers.
Gyakie, Kidi, Camidoh, King Promise, Lasmid and sound engineer DJ Vyrusky from Ghana were also nominated for the Soundcity MVP Awards Festival.
Soundcity’s MVP Awards are one of Africa’s most prestigious awards, since its inception it has recognized the outstanding achievements of African musicians.
The fifth edition of the awards takes place at the Eko Convention Center in Lagos on Saturday, February 11, 2023.
