In a recent interview, Professor Elsie Effah Kaufmann, the National Science & Maths Quiz Mistress, talked candidly about her failed marriage.
Prof. Kaufmann said that she had hoped that her marriage would last forever when she spoke to Bola Ray on Starr FM, but sadly, things didn’t work out that way.
But as time passed, she was able to move on and stopped feeling guilty about ending her marriage.
Prof. Kaufmann also counseled young women to exercise extreme caution before getting married.
According to her; “human beings are not static. Before you marry someone, make sure you know the person very well. People grow, people change and these can affect your relationship in diverse ways. Make sure you are prepared for each process because it’s not easy.“
