Christian Kwabena Andrew, also known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom, is the founder and leader of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM). He has invited Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the flagbearer candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), to run alongside him.
In his opinion, Kennedy Agyapong’s attempt to become the NPP’s flagbearer is probably going to be unsuccessful because of how the party’s primaries are going.
As a capable and seasoned politician, Osofo Kyiri Abosom thought Ken Agyapong would make a suitable running mate in the general elections of 2024.
In a recent interview with Kasapa FM, which InsightNewsgh.com listened to, Osofo Kyiri Abosom urged the Assin Central Member of Parliament to leave the NPP and join GUM as his running mate in the 2024 general elections.
“With my brother Kennedy Agyapong, I would say he is knowledgeable and intelligent, so if its possible he should come and support me. This is a serious issue I am telling him. He is such an intelligent guy but his long talk and everything he is doing will be in vain. So if he can he should join forces with me for GUM,” he said.
Running mate would be the best choice for Ken Agyapong, according to Kyiri Abosom, who pointed out that he has already been elected and ratified, so he cannot become the GUM flagbearer.
