Ghanaian hiplife artist and businesswoman Mzbel has entered the debate on God, religion, and creation that her son Kwame Adepa, better known as Okomfo Black, started.

Adepa recently expressed his viewpoint, saying he thinks people are born to other humans rather than being created by God.

He made it clear that he doesn’t believe that a supernatural entity brought him into the world and that his mother, Mzbel, is the one who brought him into the world.

Social media users were divided over Adepa’s remarks. Some praised his intelligence for being so young, while others questioned Mzbel’s parenting style.

Mzbel has responded to Adepa’s statement on her Instagram page, saying that they do not believe in the existence of a powerful god.

“YES! We dont believe in the existence of an Almighty God, because we know that everything or anything that has life no matter how big or small is a God, that is why when we pour libation (Pray) we acknowledge and honour all those energies (God). Our ancestors are dead but their blood and spirit runs through us, we are their DNA so we honour them too,” she wrote.

Mzbel urged her followers to ponder over significant issues pertaining to faith and religion on their own.

“We are all God’s… spend time with yourself in quietness, ask questions, and patiently wait for the answers from within u! You will be amazed,” she added.

The singer’s son disclosed in the podcast that he is a traditionalist who pours libations and that he is not Christian, which has prompted a plethora of responses on social media.

Meanwhile, celebrated actress and media personality, Nana Ama McBrown has taken a swipe at her critics following serious allegations of divorce rumour with her husband, Maxwell Mensah.

Speaking in a latest interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, McBrown finally addressed her divorce rumors and other issues around her life.
