A viral video of Ghanaian veteran actor Kofi Adu, popularly known as Agya Koo campaigning vigorously for Member of Parliament for Assin Central Kennedy Ohene Agyapong running for the NPP flagbearership has sparked reactions.
On Saturday, November 4, the NPP will cast ballots to choose a new flagbearer.
In view of this, Agya Koo who has not hidden his support for the unconventional politician took to the busiest Adum market in Kumasi, a suburb in the Ashanti Region to campaign for Ken Agyapong ahead of the presidential primaries.
The actor together with some few supporters of Kennedy Agyapong, were seen talking to the people in the Adum market to choose the MP for Assin Central who sits No. 1 on the ballot paper.
In the video, he is seen clad in Kennedy’s Showdown T-shirt while holding megaphone and convincing the people to spread the news to their family and friends who are NPP delegates to vote massively for Kennedy Agyapong because he’s the only presidential candidate who can change the fortunes of the country.

Recently, Agya Koo released a song in his support for Kennedy Agyapong.
Since the Member of Parliament for Assin Central announced his presidential aspirations at the beginning of the year, Koo has not hidden his support for the individual.
He expressed confidence in Kennedy Agyapong’s capacity to leave a lasting legacy in an interview from last month.
Born Kofi Adu, the actor, who’s a devoted supporter of the NPP, claimed in a video posted on his social media pages last month that Kennedy had the vision to make things better.
Meanwhile, Agya Koo stated that Kennedy Agyapong has already been appointed as the next president to lead Ghana in 2025.
According to him, in the realms of the spirit the Member of Parliament for Assin Central is leading the race to become the next president to succeed incumbent President Nana Akufo-Addo.
