A Ghanaian jobless man who handed over GH100,000, a key, and an ID card to Accra-based Adom FM in order to help find the owner of the missing items has won over many hearts and has been receiving praise left, right, and center.
He claims that as he was getting into the taxi to take him from the Mobil gas station at Nima to Abossey Okai in Accra, he noticed the alluring bundles of cash and other items that he thought perhaps another passenger had left in the vehicle.
the jobless man took the items as though they belonged to him and went straight to the media house to request an announcement to help the rightful owner to pick them up rather than attracting the driver’s attention.

He gave the reason that his parents had taught him and his siblings to live moral lives when asked why he had decided not to keep the items despite the fact that he was unemployed and particularly needed the money, which was significant enough to change his life.
The jobless man continued by saying that he would have returned the items regardless of the amount of money offered because, once they were established as not being his, keeping them would have made him feel bad.
The admirable development has sparked interesting discussions on social media, with many Ghanaians praising the upright man and proclaiming him to be one of the few ideal individuals still living.
A few people have also acknowledged that they would have acted differently if they had been in the man’s shoes.
