During an interview with Rio Ferdinand, former Ghanaian international Kevin-Prince Boateng couldn’t help but share the gospel of Jesus with the Manchester United legend.
Following his baptism in Germany, Prince Boateng proclaimed Jesus to be the only true and living way on social media.
“Revelation 3:20 – And It’s up to us to open the Door or not. JESUS is The way, The truth and The life,” He posted a message on Instagram along with images from his baptism.
Prince Boateng preached the gospel after his baptism when he made an appearance on Ferdinand’s Vibe with Five podcast.

Opening up his shirt to reveal the Bible verse John 14:6, Boateng claimed that meeting Jesus had changed his life and brought him peace.
John 14:6 read, “Jesus saith unto him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
“The only thing that saved me and gives me peace, happiness and everything right now is Jesus. Seriously, this changed my life. It totally changed my life,” he said.
Football player Alexandre Pato from Brazil praised Boateng for choosing to follow Christ by getting baptized.
Pato, a teammate at AC Milan with whom he won Serie A with in the 2010–2011 season, left a comment beneath his post.
The Brazilian, a fervent Christian, responded with nothing but praise for his former teammate: “The best way my friend.”
After a nearly two-decade-long career, Boateng announced his retirement from professional football in August.
In other news, Kurt Okraku, who ran unopposed for re-election, has been elected to serve as president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for a second term.
On Thursday, October 5, 2023, in Tamale, at the GFA Elective Congress, the 52-year-old received 117 of the possible 120 votes.
The votes collected by Kurt Okraku represent an astounding 98.3% of all votes cast by Football Association members.
