When asked to choose between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, Ghanaian musician Samini stated that he preferred Shatta Wale.
He gave Shatta Wale’s longevity in the music business and his capacity to gain and maintain notoriety over time as justifications for his selection.
Samini was questioned by host Berla Mundi of TV3’s DayShow and was asked to choose between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
He picked Shatta Wale, highlighting the fact that he is from the same generation as him and has accomplished more in the industry.
But he also made it clear that he valued Stonebwoy’s talent and understood that he was still trying to make a name for himself.
“Berla: Stonebwoy or Shatta Wale?
Samini: Come on, you want me to make headlines? I will say, Shatta Wale.
Berla: Why Shatta Wale?
Samini: He comes from my era and I think he has more under his belt than Stonebwoy. He [Stonebwoy] is still coming up, no disrespect.”
Samini added that if he had to pick one artist whose specialty is rapping, he would prefer M.anifest to Sarkodie.

Meanwhile, Wendy Shay has disclosed that some people planned her accident because they wanted her dead so they could blame his manager Bullet.
In her initial interview, Wendy Shay said that the accident wasn’t a typical accident and that those who wanted to kill her were aware of themselves and their goals.
She claims that just before the accident, she gave a media interview in which she urged aspiring musicians to take their spirituality seriously because the music business has more to it than just music.
Days later, she was involved in an accident that resulted in the tripper truck, which was carrying rocks, flipping over, but her car remained upright despite the damage.
She continued by saying that although she knew who planned the accident, she wouldn’t give their names on air.
The musician firmly asserted that their goal was to kill her and blame Bullet, who was innocent and standing up for her welfare in the music industry.
