Kwame A. Plus, a controversial social commentator and entertainment pundit has waded into the discussion regarding an issue that has been dominating the headline since a couple of tweets from legendary dancehall icon, Samini regarding Sarkodie’s attitude towards picking and returning calls.
Kwame A. Plus during UTV’s United Showbiz had this to say “Nobody knows tomorrow. You don’t owe anyone but its nice to be nice. I met Sarkodie in 2008 and I took him to Labadi. I was at Sarkodie’s house and his wife prepared yam and stew for us. It was so nice and almost tasted like my wife’s. We had a pending conversation so I decided to call him. I have been calling him for the past two years and no response”
Kwame A.Plus would also add later meeting Sarkodie at an event “ Later, we met during an event at the under bridge and we had a conversation like nothing happened” and would concede although he was disappointed, he had to understand and move on “Although I was pained , I understand that nobody owes anyone”
Sarkodie has been making the headlines for mixed reasons as he recently chalked the enviable milestone of earning a collaboration with the legendary reggae icon, Bob Marley, and his legendary ‘The Wailers’ music group on their ‘Stir it Up’ classic. Sarkodie usually makes the headline for all the right reasons but has come under strong criticism from colleagues and fans alike who have severely complained of his attitude of mostly not returning nor picking up phone calls. Although D-Black, Wendy Shay, Pope Skinny and a few others have jumped to his defence, his name continues to be dragged in the mud.
