At the 2023 African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA), Ghanaian musician King Promise was named “Best Male West Africa.”

The grand occasion was held on September 17 at Dallas, Texas’ magnificent Meyerson Symphony Center.

The chart-topping artist, known for his hit song “Terminator,” prevailed in a tough competition against top performers from the West African music scene.

To win this coveted prize, King Promise bested a strong field of competitors that included Adekunle Gold, Black Sherif, Buju, Asake, Omah Lau, Didibo, Tonton, and Satrinos Raphael.

The awards platform, which this year celebrates its tenth anniversary, honors and recognizes notable musical compositions and artists from all over the African continent.

Fally Ipupa, a singer from the Congo, and Davido have each received six nominations, followed by Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz and Nigeria’s Rema, each with four. Asake and Burna Boy each have three nominations.

In other news, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has clarified a recent prophetic vision he shared on social media about a potential end for a well-known person.

He clarified that, contrary to earlier rumors about Black Sherif, his prophecy concerned a Ghanaian celebrity by the name of Sherif Black.

Prophet Nigel had expressed concern about something he had observed regarding the life of “Sheriff Black” in his original post, asking the family to pray for him and engage in a meaningful conversation with him.

He emphasized how crucial it was to take such prophetic messages seriously and do as they advised.

Prophet Nigel elaborated on his revelation during a phone conversation on UTV Showbiz Night, saying that prophetic visions are frequently figurative and might not give a clear picture of the situation.

He urged people to recognize the urgency of such messages, though, and act appropriately.

Prophet Nigel emphasized that the purpose of prophesies is to alert, not harm, and he urged people to be on guard and to pray for their lives in response to such messages.
