Akon, a well-known Senegalese-American singer, has dubbed himself the world’s most frugal person.
This is the best way to maintain wealth, in his opinion. During his appearance on the Impulsive Podcast, he disclosed this.
He made the brazen claim that he was “the stingiest man on the planet” and that maintaining wealth required being frugal.
Akon emphasized the importance of putting financial discipline first in order to maintain wealth.
He described his own experience with owning a private jet, which only lasted six months because of the outrageous maintenance costs, which were more expensive than the actual jet’s cost.
He advised anyone considering buying a private jet or any other expensive asset to hold off and only purchase these assets when absolutely necessary.
“Whatever you do, do not own a [private] jet. Bro, owning a jet is spending at least 2-3 million dollars a year just for upkeep [maintenance]. You spend more on the maintenance than the actual jet cost,” he said.
Akon also urged people to treat their finances as though they had to last a lifetime.
He argued that this viewpoint would have a big effect on how people manage their finances.
“This is the advice I give everybody. The money that you have now has to last you a lifetime. When you reason it that way, you are going to be very prudent.” he argued
The singer’s financial guidance quickly sparked an online discussion. Others disagreed with those who praised his wisdom.

In other news, E.L has said he never worked as a delivery guy in the United States.
E.L. revealed in an interview in April that he had to start working as a food delivery driver in the United States at one point in order to survive.
He claims that even though he is one of the most well-known rappers this nation has ever produced, things have not always been happy.
However, in a recent interview on Hitz FM, E.L claimed that his team pushed him to create a social stunt for trends.
“It was more like an attention brag from myself. Actually it was influenced by some few people around me,” he said.
