Coco Gauff was born on March 13, 2004, in Delray Beach, Florida. She is the daughter of Corey Gauff, a former basketball player, and Candi Gauff, a track and field athlete. She has one younger sister, Camila.
Tennis career:
Coco Gauff began playing tennis at the age of six. She quickly showed promise, and she won several junior tournaments. In 2018, she made her professional debut at the US Open. She defeated Venus Williams in the first round, becoming the youngest player to do so in the Open Era. Gauff went on to win the US Open girls’ singles title, becoming the youngest Grand Slam champion since 2004.
