Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy, is a Ghanaian dancehall and reggae artist. He explains the meaning of the word “BHIM” that he frequently uses in his songs.

The “Bawasaaba” singer revealed that the “BHIM” in his songs is a sound that is intended to awaken one’s spirit in an interview with Universal Music Canada while promoting his 5th Dimension album.

He claimed that the word “BHIM” serves as an inspiration for him, waking him up and giving him the energy he needs to carry out his daily tasks peacefully.

“ When hashtags really started, they used to start with #Team Drake etc but I’m not rolling with no team, I am a nation. So people would start to call me BHIM. They loved the sound because it’s an awakening sound already on the songs. All you see the people focusing on is waiting for the BHIM so they can sing with you” he said .

The BHIM president is frequently used to refer to dancehall superstar Stonebwoy. This is due to the fact that his sizable fan base is referred to as BHIM Nation as a whole.

Despite the fact that the BHIM signature has been around for a while, not many people are aware of what it means.

The abbreviation “BHIM” stands for “Bless His Imperial Majesty.”

The superstar is currently touring in support of his album, 5th Dimension.

On Friday, April 28, 2023, Stonebwoy released his monumental album titled “5th Dimension.”

The sounds in “5th Dimension” demonstrate the Grammy nominee’s aptitude for incorporating various musical styles and cultural influences into his work. Local and foreign artists are represented on the 17-track album, including British rapper Stormzy, Grammy-winning African singer Angelique Kidjo, Davido, the iconic Nigerian Afrobeats singer, South African DJ Maphorisa, Jamaican reggae rapper Shaggy, Dexta Daps, Mereba, and Jaz Karis.
