Former lover and mother of Shatta Wale’s child, the controversial dancehall artist, Michelle Diamond, also known as Michy, has openly joined the ongoing LGBT debate and expressed support for the recently reported anti-LGBTQ+ bill that the Ghanaian parliament has proposed.
The well-known person recently discussed her opinions on the topic in an interview on UTV’s Atuu, which was hosted by renowned broadcaster Abeiku Santana. Michy cited her conviction that traditional values are compatible with heterosexual relationships.
She expressed her happiness at learning about the legislative initiative intended to stop LGBTQ+ activities.
Michy emphasized her belief that conventional values and beliefs are in favor of the idea that God created man for woman, not the other way around.
Recently I asked my son to read the book and come tell me the story later, he explained how a girl dressed like a boy and fell in love with another guy…and also how a boy wore female pants in a Shakespeare book. So, for the law, whatever they ban or prevent from happening is imprinted in the cartoons, and in the books. Can you cancel those books?”
The singer and businesswoman further argued that the Western community is imposing its beliefs on the next generation, a development that she is not particularly happy about.
“I feel like the whites are grooming the next generation in certain ways and I am not happy about it because creation didn’t talk about Adam and Adam, I believe that woman is sweet Abeiku so why would you go for the hard backside? she asked.

Meanwhile, Shatta Wale has made it clear that the reason he keeps criticizing Sarkodie is related to the Glo mega-concert deal that took place on October 25, 2018.
Shatta Wale revealed that he and Serwaa Amihere had agreed to demand $150,000 for the Glo deal while speaking on a Twitter platform. Sarkodie ultimately decided to accept GHC120,000.
To make matters worse, the promoters offered to pay Sarkodie $131,000 rather than the $150,000 they had originally agreed upon because they believed Shatta Wale wasn’t worth the amount he requested.
