Freezy Macbones was a mason in Ghana before relocating to the UK, where he has since made a complete turnaround in his life.
His rise has been the prototypical “rags to riches” tale, and after he dominated his most recent match, he has been rightfully trending on social media.
In April, the 33-year-old boxer competed in just his second professional match, which was on the undercard of Joe Joyce vs. Zhilei Zhang.
At the Copper Box Arena in London, MacBones faced veteran Darryl Sharp and completely dominated him.
Despite having a crude fighting style, he used aggressiveness along with heavy punches to defeat Sharp by unanimous decision.
On social media, the fight’s highlights went viral, with many Ghanaians praising MacBones’ aggressive boxing technique.
