Veteran actor and media personality, Akwasi Boadi popularly known on the screens as Akrobeto has implored Efia Odo to have a rethink of her previous statement to never date a broke guy.
Recently, Ghanaian actress and socialite, Efia Odo during a panel discussion stated that she can only date wealthy men and has no interest in men who are currently trying to succeed in life.
Relationships and how they intersect with money were the topics of discussion in one episode of the podcast “Keeping It 100 percent.”
Efia Odo’s comments came as a no surprise to many because she has countless emphasized in several interviews that there is no way she’ll ever date a broke man in her entire life.
However, each time she made such comments she received heavy backlash from social media users but she careless.
Following her recent comment on the same issue, Akrobeto has reached out to Efia Odo, whom he refers to as his nephew to stop thinking that way because things can change within a second for the broke guy she has no interest in.
According to the Kumawood actor, he is not surprise the actress made such comment but warned her that nobody knows what the future holds for another person.
“Nobody knows tomorrow as I always say, what we see today is not the same thing we will see tomorrow. You may see someone hustling today but after two/three years the person can change, things will turn good for him,” he said.
He continued that the actress never thought she would one day become a star same way a broke man’s life will never be the same story.
Using himself as an example, Akrobeto narrated how his first girlfriend, who was residing in abroad dumped him for a Black Stars player because he was a hustler in the village. But today, his name is trending across the globe.
