Ghanaian artist and TV host Michy stated that she would dissuade her son from pursuing music because of the general lack of discipline in the country’s entertainment sector.
Michy finds it depressing that there is no discipline in the entertainment industry. She is hesitant to support her son’s potential employment in the music industry as a result.
In an interview with the Asempa Showbiz Review, Michy discussed her son’s goals for the future. She expressed her preference for Majesty to pursue a career in soccer, pointing out that it offers greater opportunity for financial success than music and has a more structured discipline.
Michy encourages Majesty to hone his musical abilities because he shows a love of music, especially the piano. She does, however, lean toward encouraging him to pursue a career in football because of the discipline that the sport demands.
Majesty is a remarkable young boy, especially when he interacts with people—it’s truly fascinating. He’s already showing an interest in playing the piano, and we’re in the process of refining his piano skills. His inclination towards musical instruments and his desire to understand beats and rhythms are apparent. While I do recognize a potential future in music, I’d rather see him pursue soccer due to the strong sense of discipline that accompanies it,” she expressed.
Her son Majesty is a child of Michy GH and Charles Nii Armah Mensah, better known as Shatta Wale, a renowned Ghanaian Dancehall superstar.
