POPULAR FETISH Priest, Nana Kwaku Bonsam, who is widely known for dealing in supernatural affairs, has become an active member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The Akomadan-Afrancho based traditionalist has been seen in a viral video, where he was campaigning for the NDC at Akwatia in the Eastern region ahead of the recent by-election.
In the short footage, the fetish priest now turned politician, was encouraging the electorates in Akwatia Constituency to vote massively for the NDC since they can develop the area.
Kwaku Bonsam, who was clad in NDC paraphernalia, stated boldly that the erstwhile New Patriotic Party (NPP) government is a scam so the electorates should reject them.
According to him, the NPP administration, led by ex-President Nana Akufo-Addo did not do much to help the people of Akwatia Constituency.
He pointed out that the bad road leading to Akwatia Constituency is enough evidence that the NPP government didn’t perform well in the area while in power.
“The NPP administration is a scam, they did absolutely nothing to improve your area. The bad roads here speaks volumes about how the NPP neglected you”, he said.
The popular fetish priest was then seen urging the sparse crowd that he was addressing, to dance to NDC party songs that were being played in the background.
Kwaku Bonsam, as a reminder, is a household name in the country as he is widely known to have supernatural powers through his famous ‘Kofi Kofi’ deity.
Sometime ago, it was reported that he had assisted some men of God in the country with his unique powers to perform wonders and help their churches to grow.
But in the last few years, he has strangely been quiet about his supernatural powers as he has been more involved in politics.
Kwaku Bnsam, who contested as an independent candidate in the Offinso North constituency race in December 2020, lost to the then incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) Ntim Augustine Collins.
