A 33-year-old Ghanaian man, Samuel Yeboah, has been stabbed with a pair of scissors to death during a fight over an unpaid loan.
The incident happened at Mile 11 in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region, on the evening of Monday, June 30, 2025.
According to Angel TV’s correspondent, Kweku Asedi, the conflict began when Samuel Yeboah went to their co-tenant, who sells food, to remind her about a debt she owed his sister.

Reports suggest that the co-tenant, a Nigerian, owed the money for over three months, and Samuel had previously asked her to pay.
During one of these encounters, Samuel Yeboah received threats from the co-tenant’s son, Emeka Buchi, who was present when Samuel was demanding the payment from Emeka’s mother.
The report said during the exchange, Emeka Buchi attacked Samuel but did not cause any harm.
Later that evening, the situation escalated when Emeka reportedly returned with a group of about nine young men who launched a violent attack on Samuel Yeboah.
“They shocked him with a shocker and stabbed him with scissors,” the correspondent added.
Samuel Yeboah was quickly rushed to the nearby Finney Hospital, but doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
Ayisha, a resident who helped take Samuel Yeboah to the hospital, confirmed that he had spoken several times about being threatened by Emeka Buchi.
“He kept saying they were warning him to watch his back,” she narrated.

So far only one suspect has been arrested by the police. However, the rest are reportedly still on the run. Emeka is also on the run.
Many are calling for immediate justice and have warned that they will take action themselves if the police do not move quickly to arrest the remaining suspects.
Meanwhile, the body of Samuel Yeboah has been sent to the Police Hospital morgue, as investigations into the incident continue.
