Thomas Robert Daley was born on May 21, 1994, in Plymouth, Devon, England. From a young age, he displayed immense talent and passion for diving. Daley gained widespread recognition when he represented Great Britain at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. At just 14 years old, he became Britain’s youngest competitor and the youngest from any nation to participate in a final.

His diving prowess continued to flourish. In 2009, he reached the pinnacle of the sport by also becoming the number one-ranked diver in the FINA World Aquatics Championships Diving Rankings for the 10-meter platform.

Olympic Journey:
