Tyler John Kolek was born on March 27, 2001, in Providence, Rhode Island, U.S. He is currently 23 years old. Growing up in Cumberland, Rhode Island, Kolek attended Cumberland High School before transferring to St. George’s School for his senior year.  His impressive stats also included averaging 18.6 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. Kolek also embarked on his college basketball journey at George Mason, where he immediately caught attention.

Later, he transferred to Marquette, where he continued to excel.In the 2024 NBA draft, Kolek’s talent was recognized, and he was selected as the 34th overall pick by the Portland Trail Blazers. However, he was subsequently traded to the New York Knicks.

Now, Kolek plays as a guard for the New York Knicks in the NBA.
