Tyler John Kolek was born on March 27, 2001, in Providence, Rhode Island, U.S. He is currently 23 years old. Growing up in Cumberland, Rhode Island, Kolek attended Cumberland High School before transferring to St. George’s School for his senior year. As a junior, Kolek made waves by being named the Rhode Island Gatorade Boys Basketball Player of the Year. His impressive stats also included averaging 18.6 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. Kolek also embarked on his college basketball journey at George Mason, where he immediately caught attention. As a freshman, he was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Year.
