Paul Anderson is an English film and television actor who gained prominence for portraying Arthur Shelby Jr. in the popular series Peaky Blinders, Mr. Anderson in the 2015 film The Revenant, and Sebastian Moran in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Anderson also hails from Kennington, South London. He decided to pursue acting in the mid-2000s after working as a ticket scalper and aspiring musician. Anderson enrolled at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. And began his acting career by also appearing in plays written by his friend Gregory Burke.
Anderson’s breakthrough came when he was cast as Arthur Shelby in the BBC Two show Peaky Blinders. He has appeared in major films like The Revenant and In the Heart of the Sea. Paul has a sister named Vicki Anderson and a nephew. Jacob Anderson (known for playing “Grey Worm” in “Game of Thrones”). He left school at a young age and later attended the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. Where he honed his acting skills.
