Why Pride Matters
A Safe Space for Queer Joy
- Pride Month provides a safe haven where we can wear our queerness and sexuality on our sleeves.
- It’s a time to dance, laugh, and revel in our shared experiences.
- Whether you’re partying all night, watching a drag show, or marching in a parade, there’s a Pride event for everyone.
Honoring Our Activists
- We owe our progress to the trailblazing LGBTQ+ activists who fought for our rights.
- Pride Month is a chance to acknowledge their hard work and continue the fight for justice.
- Let’s remember Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera, and countless others who paved the way.
