Arend Martijn “Arne” Slot, born on September 17, 1978, is a Dutch professional football manager and former player. He currently manages Eredivisie club Feyenoord and will join Liverpool after the current season ends.
Arne Slot began his football journey at amateur side VV Bergentheim in the Netherlands. He then moved to FC Zwolle, where he made his debut for the first team at the age of 17 in 1995. Despite early struggles with injuries and limited playing time, Slot eventually established himself as a goal-scoring attacking midfielder.

- In 2002, FC Zwolle won the Eerste Divisie (second division) and returned to the Eredivisie (top division) after 13 years.
