Valeri Ivanovich Nichushkin, born on March 4, 1995, is a Russian professional ice hockey right winger. He currently plays for the Colorado Avalanche in the National Hockey League (NHL).
Growing up, he displayed a passion for hockey and began playing at a young age. Nichushkin’s talent quickly caught the attention of scouts and coaches. He also joined the youth system of Traktor Chelyabinsk, a prominent Russian hockey club. In 2013, Nichushkin was selected 10th overall by the Dallas Stars in the NHL Entry Draft.
