FIVE SOULS have been lost in two separate road crashes in a period of 48 hours at Akomadan in the Offinso North Constituency in the Ashanti Region.

The first accident happened when a tipper truck, surprisingly, crashed head on with a tricycle also known as ‘Pragia’ at Akomadan on Thursday at 6pm.

In that fatal crash, three people, including a pregnant woman, were said to have perished right at the accident scene, drawing uncontrollable tears from eye witnesses.

Just as the people of Akomadan were trying to overcome the pain and sorrow that they endured during the first accident, another one occurred on Saturday.

On Saturday, a cement mixer dislodged from a truck, which was said to be negotiating a curve, resulting in a head crash between the cement mixer and a bus.

According to reports reaching THE NEW PUBLISHER, two people onboard the bus, which was traveling at a top speed, gave up the ghost instantly at the scene.

Other passengers onboard the bus also sustained some body injuries and they were rushed to nearby medical facilities to receive treatment to help save their lives.

Meanwhile, the identities of the two deceased persons in the Saturday’s crash are still unknown as the police in the area have commenced investigations into the crash.
