    • The fire began around 2:30 am on Wednesday, February 22nd.
    • Around 50 firefighters from across Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service responded to the blaze.
    • Thankfully, no guests were staying in the hotel at the time, and all staff were safely evacuated.

    • The fire caused significant damage to the three-story Victorian building, with the pub reportedly destroyed.
