    I was called incompetent by Nana Addo and Bawumia – John Mahama

    Former president and National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama hast taken a swipe at President Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia over Ghana’s economic crisis and bad governance.

    As part of his Building Ghana Tour, Mr. John Mahama is presently in the Ashanti Region. He is seeking opinions on how to develop Ghana more effectively.

    Addressing some traders in Suame Magazine, John Mahama criticized the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Bawumia for calling him incompetent yet they are struggling to restore Ghana’s economy.

    According to him, the President Akufo-Addo thought governing the country was an easy task but his NPP government has failed abysmally to deliver their campaign promises.

    John Mahama added that the NPP government promised to move Ghana from taxation to production, however, they are introducing more taxes.

    The NDC flagbearer said his main of engaging them was find out from their issues confronting, so the NDC has take of all them and put everything when drafting their manifesto for the December 7 elections.

    Meanwhile, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Chairman Wontumi was spotted visiting a polling place in Kwabre East during NPP parliamentary primaries over the weekend, where he expressed confidence in the NPP’s ability to win the upcoming 2024 elections, despite reports that he was ill and had been admitted to the hospital.

    Chairman Wontumi declared that the NPP was committed to breaking the eight in the video that JoyNews released.

    “Breaking the eight is non-negotiable. We are winning the 2024 elections and breaking the eight. The NDC can do their propaganda and tell lies but there is nothing about NPP winning the elections.

    “We will win for Ghana to develop and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to become the president of the country,” Chairman Wontumi said.
