Mr. Benard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, is the regional chairman of the NPP Ashanti!
Despite Chairman Wontumi’s scheduled appearance before Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Ashanti King, on Monday, photos of him at the hospital have appeared on social media without warning.

Mr. Chairman Wontumi has been called by the traditional leaders of Ashanti Regional after it is purported that he insulted Otumfour Osei Tutu.
According to reports, Wontumi claimed to have greater political clout than Otumfour.
He has been called because, according to the report, his remarks weaken Otumfour Osei Tutu’s authority.
Chairman Wontumi was supposed to seek redress before Otumfour on Monday, but he has suddenly become ill.
