In order to raise money for her treatment in Singapore, Cain and Safiyya started a fundraising campaign online, which raised over £1.5 million. Despite all the efforts, Azaylia passed away on 24 April 2021. Although heart-broken, Ashley Cain stated that he and his partner would continue the fundraising campaign and start a charity in memory of Azaylia to fight childhood cancer. Azaylia’s passing in 2021 was a devastating blow, leaving an irreplaceable void in their lives. However, Ashley and Safiyya have chosen to channel their grief into positive action, raising awareness about childhood cancer and establishing the Azaylia Diamond Foundation to help other families facing similar challenges.
