In order to turn around the nation’s fortunes, Samuel Atta Akyea, the Member of Parliament for the Akim Abuakwa South constituency, Samuel Atta Akyea emphasized that the people must vote for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the December 7 elections.
Dr. Bawumia is the greatest gentleman with “shock absorbers” who is prepared to serve the country, according to the MP for Akim Abuakwa South.
Ghana’s economy has been struggling for some time, and the government is requesting assistance from the International Monetary Fund.
“This is the first time Ghana is going to have a president who is an economist, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. If the problem of Ghana now and people are talking about its seriousness, I agree to a reasonable extent that the economy is not in its best form. When you have a toothache, do you give it to a carpenter or a dentist? Ghana will be in a safer pair of hands when we bring Dr. Bawumia.”
Ghana is going to get a man with shock absorbers, the finest gentleman, to help us solve a major problem facing us, the economy. He was in a very serious adversary role, which is what people don’t want to see. It’s cruel and vile propaganda for everybody to say that let’s place all the economic woes of Akufo-Addo on Dr. Bawumia. It’s unkind,” said Atta Akyea in a Face to Face interview on Citi TV.
He stated that since the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) did not originate, he does not think they can oversee the government’s free Senior High Schools (SHS) program if they come to power.
“Some people believe that you [NDC] didn’t start free SHS; you might not even know how to continue. And the nation will suffer for it,” he stated.
The NDC flagbearer and former president John Dramani Mahama, who is running for reelection, will compete against the vice president in the presidential election.
