Lydia Forson, a well-known actress and businesswoman, has expressed her worry about the way Ghanaians see politicians these days.
In post shared on her X (formerly Twitter) page, Lydia Forson recommended Nana Kwame Bediako also known as Cheddar, who recently revealed himself as the ‘Man behind the Mask.’
According to Lydia, Ghanaians must admire Cheddar for taken the bold step to contest against the strongest parties in Ghana, New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC) with all the resources he has got.
However, she was quick to add that Cheddar will be watched closely and won’t allow him to deceive her like the other politicians.
See you have to admire Cheddar( Kwame Bediako’s) presidential bid, not many with the resources have the guts. 👏🏾
That being said; we’re not going to treat him with kid gloves either.
This is future of Ghana we’re talking about, I’m reading & checking everything twice.

In a follow up on her X page, she called on Ghanaians to have a rethink of idea of the appearance of politicians.
According to him, politicians have used suit and tie to oppress Ghanaians for too long. Therefore, appearance shouldn’t be the justification for who is a good politician.
Lydia Forson urged Ghanaians to scrutinize Cheddar and all other presidential candidates based on their capabilities and not their appearance.
We also need to move away from the idea of what a good politician should “look like”.
They’ve used suit and tie to oppress us for too long.
Your scrutiny of Cheddar and other candidates should be based on their capabilities and not how they “look.”
