New presidential aspirant, Nana Kwame Bediako known as Freedom Jacob Caesar or Cheddar, has vowed to transparently declare his assets ahead of independent presidential bid.
In an interview with TV3, the businessman and philanthropist, Kwame Bediako was asked who was funding his New Africa Foundation, in response, he said at the right time he would reveal the people sponsoring his political ambition.
“We belive that the political principles or the chronicles that constipate together to make or build a government should be transparent. It should be something that the people are aware of and they are in control,” Nana Kwame Bediako said.
He continued, “If there are any donations or support, I will transparently declare it meaning that if people come genuinely help me and support me, that’s what I am going to do.

The New Force leader also expressed his displeasure on government for allowing foreign events to but the local ones are unconsidered.
According to him, Ghanaians embraced Global Citizen but did not support The Convention.
Relatedly, Kwame Bediako revealed that he put a whopping $300,000 into the recently canceled event that was supposed to introduce him as the mastermind of the ‘The New Force’ movement.
He expressed his disappointment, accusing the government of treating him unfairly for calling off the event so abruptly even though he had reserved and paid for the prestigious Black Star Square venue well in advance.
The New Africa Foundation planned the event, which they called “The Convention,” which was scheduled for January 7, 2024. The sudden cancellation disappointed pan-African leaders who had already arrived in the country, such as Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao of Zimbabwe, P.L.O. Lumumba of Kenya, and Peter Obi of Nigeria.
In response to the controversy, Dr. Nadia Adongo Fynn, Deputy Director at the Office of the President’s Diaspora Affairs Directorate, clarified that, despite earlier approval in November 2023, an unanticipated state event resulted in the revocation of venue permission. The statement apologized for any inconvenience caused and mentioned a refund of the Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵10,000.00) paid for the venue.
