Zapp Mallet, a legendary music producer, has apologized to Afua Asantewaa Aduonum for remarks he made recently about her attempt to set a new record for the Sing-a-thon.

His previous remarks caused a stir on the internet because many users thought the music producer’s situation was unjustified and extremely insensitive.

In addition to criticizing her vocal ability, he said that the feat she is attempting is extraordinarily difficult and that there is no reason why more experienced singers would dare to attempt it.

Zapp Mallet apologized via tweet after learning about the nature of the challenge and receiving backlash for his remarks.

He apologized, admitting that he made a mistake and misunderstood the challenge’s requirements.

He added that he was worried about her and that, like every other Ghanaian, he was supporting her when he posted what he had said earlier.

Guys, guys, guys, I’m so, so sorry. I just realized I was judging Afua Asantewaa so hard. Please forgive me. I didn’t know the rules. But I said some of the things out of concern for her. Please, don’t get me wrong. I’m behind her just like every Ghanaian.

In a related note, as Afua Asantewaa enters its fifth day at Akwaaba Village in Accra, her attempt to shatter the Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon by an individual has demonstrated an amazing display of musical endurance.

With the encouragement of an increasing number of supporters and her unwavering determination, Asantewaa is making progress in her quest.

Her Singathon was slated to start on December 24, 2023, and run through December 28 of that same year.

Some Ghanaian celebrities have stormed the event to encourage Afua Asantewaa aside the thousands of Ghanaians who have stood behind her since the first day.

With only a few hours remaining, Afua Asantewaa’s sing-a-thon, which is now in its fifth day, is still captivating audiences and making history with her incredible musical feat.
