This renowned academy, run by former scout Rudy Santin, provided Wander with structured training, exposure to professional coaches, and competition against other talented young players. Santin immediately recognized Wander’s potential. He described him as “born to hit,” with a “sweet swing” . Wander quickly rose through the ranks at the academy, impressing scouts with his talent and maturity.
