Veteran Ghanaian actress Madam Grace Omaboe, known as Maame Dokono, has vowed she will never marry again after tasting two failed marriages.
In an old interview on Delay Show with Deloris Frimpong-Manso which has resurfaced on social media, Maame Dokono said she is not ready to become a wife to a man again.
According to her, she can’t stand so low for a man all in the name of a being a wife because she is treated like a queen in abroad anytime she travels and sleeps in big hotels.
Explaining further, the veteran actress disclosed she takes her bath once in a day, she said being single makes her free and does whatever she wants but marriage will make her slave to her husband.
Asked if she doesn’t feel lonely, she replied with no hesitation that she has two of her six children with her and so she doesn’t feel lonely at all.
Maame Dokono added that the thought of feeling lonely and needing a man to fill the space which cannot be filled by her children doesn’t come to her mind.
She stressed that she doesn’t feel for sex anymore and for the past six years she has not had any sexual intercourse with a man. At this point Delay looked very surprised following her comment.
“What is sex, you have sex when you are in love with a person,” she explained. She concluded that may be the men are afraid of her so they don’t approach her anymore.
Recall, last year, the veteran actress revealed during an interview with Delay that her biggest regret in life is divorcing her first husband and wished she never did that.
According to her, she was too immature to appreciate his kindness.
Mame Dokono claimed that although her second husband arrived with all the gaudy possessions, he mistreated her.
